School education, apprenticeship and working expierence

After attending highschool I graduated from a college for figuration (Fachoberschule für Gestaltung). Afterwards I completed an apprentinceship as a media designer (Staatlich geprüfter gestaltungstechnischer Assistent mit dem Schwerpunkt: Medien / Kommunikation). I worked for the advertising agency GPS Werbeagentur in Aachen before doing my alternative service at the German Red Cross (Rotes Kreuz Aachen) in stead of serving in the military service. Then I started my own little company for graphic- and web-service and I worked as a freelancer. In 2004 I applied for a study at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
